My Experience
I am a dedicated and seasoned educator with a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in the dynamic field of education. My commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment is reflected in my friendly and reliable tutoring approach. Throughout my career, I have consistently strived to make the learning journey interesting and captivating for my students, earning accolades such as an 'outstanding' rating from OFSTED.
My academic journey is marked by a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Armed with qualifications including a PGCE and senior leadership credentials, I bring a robust foundation of theoretical knowledge coupled with practical expertise to my role as a tutor. I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities in four schools situated across Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Suffolk, where I have left an indelible mark on the education landscape.
In my previous roles, I have assumed key responsibilities such as the KS3 coordinator, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, and Head of English at a large secondary school. Currently, I am engaged as a consultant, providing invaluable insights to both primary and secondary schools. This multifaceted experience allows me to offer comprehensive tutoring services, seamlessly bridging the gap between online and in-person learning.
As an English tutor, my expertise extends across a spectrum of educational levels. I have successfully guided primary students in preparation for SAT and 11+, as well as secondary school entrance. At the KS3 level, I provide additional support to students in need, while my proficiency in guiding GCSE students through exam preparations and A-level studies is well-established.
